Kemarin banyak yang tanya mengenai motivation letter. Di sini saya akan share mengenai surat motivasi yang saya gunakan untuk mendaftar Mobility Program dari Erasmus+.
To Whom it May concerned,
Being an international chemistry researcher is my aim. My main academic interest in this program is to obtain a broader insight in the synthesis and application of inorganic chemical compounds in the field of catalysis and medicine. Science background, particularly Inorganic Chemistry, prepare me to reach it.
Learning chemistry in Germany educates students to be research-oriented, qualified in independent scientific reasoning, and competent to successfully solve problems in the field of science and technology. Studying in Universität Leipzig through Erasmus+ Study Mobility Program is one of the best opportunities to improve my expertise in global perspective. Being supervised by Prof. Dr. Evamarie Hey-Hawkins from Universität Leipzig is able to enhance my accomplishment about metal complexes and its application. It has always been my dream to pursue studies in Germany and I am going to strive for the best academic results while in the overseas university and my home university as well.
Presently, I hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Universitas Sebelas Maret. I am applying for a master program in the same university as well. During, my four years of undergraduate study, I have gained the qualifications and work ethic necessary to be a successful graduate student. These characteristics are exemplified by the great academic record. I have numerous experiences as well. I already did much in chemistry practicing as an assistant of inorganic and analytical chemistry practical laboratory as well as joining chemistry Olympiad and scientific paper competition. In the 7th semester, I began conducting research for my thesis working on synthesizing and characterizing the complex of CuCl2·2H2O and benzocaine, then investigating its bacterial activity. My English proficiency is in B2 level (independent user) therefore I am able to learn properly in the partner university.
In conclusion, I am eager to gain a new experience, improve my competence and broaden my understanding of chemistry. It would be immensely gratifying for me to join this program and contribute scientifically for both universities and society.
